After graduating from high school (classical studies: “liceo classico” in Italian) in his hometown Castrovillari in the South of Italy, he studied for two years in Frascati, near Rome at the Accademia Vivarium novum, where he perfected his knowledge of the two classical languages: Latin and Ancient Greek, reaching a level of proficiency in both that allows him not only to read and understand texts, but also to write and speak fluently.

He obtained his Bachelor's Degree cum laude in Christian and Classical Letters with a thesis written in Latin on Giovanni Pontano's “De principe” at the Pontificium Institutum Altioris Latinitatis of the Pontifical Salesian University.

He then obtained his Master's Degree cum laude in Philology and History of Antiquity at the University of Pisa with a dissertation in Medieval and Humanistic Latin Philology, producing the first critical edition with translation and commentary of the biography of Ferdinand I, King of Naples, written by Giovanni Filippo De Lignamine (Incliti Ferdinandi regis vita et laudes).

Before being hired as a Foreign Expert in the Latin Language Department of the School of European Languages and Cultures at BFSU, he taught Latin and Ancient Greek at the Accademia Vivarium Novum from 2020-10-01 to 2022-11-30.
